While the shape of our much-loved Mojura Fans were designed to be the most comfortable tech fan, with extra techy with manipulation features to satisfy even the most nerdy of techy fan spinners, the most common feedback we received was: “Can you make them prettier?”. The answer was: “Okay fine”.
We used the shapes from one of Duncan’s first fan designs back in 2018, and upgraded it with all the techy balance jargon that we’ve learned in the past 6 years of making fans. It has a feathery/flowery aesthetic, so we dubbed them “Plumis” – Latin for “feathers”. They are a bit shorter than Mojura Fans, but also wider, with a more Russian-ish shape and feel. The weight is the same as some of our fire fans (but not as heavy as most fire fans), making them great for practicing for a fire show :)

4-wick fire tech fans designed and produced by Flow DNA using a revolutionary approach to propsmithing that had never been attempted before.
The goal was to make fire fans that feel as comfortable and light-weight as practice fans, without metal grips that hurt your fingers, and without the need for welding, which inherently causes weak spots. The solution we came up with was machine cutting aluminium frames and compositing them into wooden grips finished in the style of a custom guitar.
After 3 years of design and beta testing, we’re finally happy to say that this is the final version.
Please note:
Our products are made to order and a lead time of 6-8 weeks. If you ask us when they’ll be “in stock” , we will not be able to give you an accurate answer. We’re making things as fast as we can.
The current photos are from older versions. We’re working on updating photos.
