The 100mm crystal clear acrylic contact juggling ball is quite large.  They look absolutely amazing and have great impact on the street or stage. They are however probably a bit heavy for beginners.

Acrylic contact balls have grown in popularity over the years, and as a result there are now quite a few Chinese factories producing standard quality contact balls.  These are the contact juggling balls you will usually get when purchasing from most retailers.  The Firetoys Crystal Clear acrylic balls are very different, they are made in the EU, flawless and (as the name suggests) they are crystal clear!  No wobbles, not bubbles, no scratches, no scuffs, just eye wateringly clean and smooth crystal clear acrylic.

In order to attain the clarity, these balls are not injection moulded like the bulk of contact juggling balls but ground down from an extruded rod of acrylic and then polished to a perfect finish.

Here at Flow DNA we weren’t too sure how much of a difference there really was.  When comparing two brand new balls, however, the difference is really evident.  The added clarity makes it seem even more magical, like an orb of water under your control.

Due to the perfect circular shape and clear nature of the acrylic, this contact juggling ball can act as a magnifying glass and start fires. Never leave your balls in direct sunlight (eg: on a window sill).  Rather keep them stored in your protective carry pouch at all times.

On the larger balls the high magnification levels mean that if you put your eye close up to the ball you may see a few very minor marks on the surface.  However, these will not be visible or affect the illusion to you or your audience when viewed at a normal distance.
