Custom-blended glitter gives the 100mm balls on these contact poi a mondo glitter crackle that sparkles amazingly, especially in sunlight.  A flowtoys exclusive, these poi come in 5 elemental theme colours – fire, water, earth, air and love.

Glitterbomb contact poi are now available with tethers made from FPC rope, so we had to get our hands on them.  FPC is a new poi rope, similar to VPC and a custom-made for flowtoys.  VPC is a rope used in boating that advanced poi spinners consider the best all-round rope for poi manipulation, but it’s difficult to cut and work with.  Flowtoys worked with the manufacturers of VPC to give you all you love about VPC without the hassle.

Designed for beginners through advanced poi spinners, these contact poi are great for stalls, floats, tosses and all types of poi manipulation.

  Handmade in the USA, these contact poi aka pendulum poi are durable, handle great, and will take your poi spinning to new levels, with an added sprinkling of pixie dust. A flowtoys-exclusive made by PlayJuggling, these 90mm spheres have custom-blended glitter, giving you a mondo glitter crackle that sparkles amazingly, especially in sunlight. Glitterbomb spheres are made with phthalate-free pvc and come in 5 elemental theme colors:

  • Earth: green, bronze, gold
  • Fire: red, orange, gold
  • Love: rose, fuchsia, silver
  • Water: azure, electric cyan, silver
  • Air: holographic silver

  10mm FPC rope

  Double-braid polyester rope custom-made for flowtoys by the manufacturers of VPC, aka “willow rope”, generally recognized as the best rope for contact poi, tossing and other advanced poi manipulation.

  FPC is basically identical to VPC, but with a meltable polyester core for easier assembly and modification. FPC’s perfect balance of thickness, suppleness, stiffness and lack of stretch give it tight but forgiving response, you can still do tangles and wraps but it slows them down a little and makes catches easier. The ends can be melted to create attachments and prevent fraying (unlike VPC).

  Great for slower styles, forgiving and easy to handle, many people upgrade to this rope as their practice advances. Also recommended for beginners.

  Note: FPC (like VPC) can shrink up to 4cm, though probably less than that, and usually in the first few months of use. The shrinkage is due to the internal fibers shifting until they settle into a more stable state. We recommend you start with about 2-3cm longer than your ideal length.
