TechPro Cathedral Fire Poi feature removable, high-quality, para-aramid wicks with no fibreglass or copper mesh. Available in one easily adjustable 66cm (26″) length to suit every height and style. The comfortable Technora cords and Pro Silicone Poi Handles, with integrated bearing swivels, make this set of poi a joy to spin. This set is suitable for intermediate and experienced spinners. Beginners can use them, but the flame size and burn time might be a little intimidating for beginners.

WICKS

Cathedral wick fire poi use a massive 1.5m of high-quality 50mm para-aramid wick per head. Depending on the spinning speed, you can expect a good flame size and medium length burn times of 6+ minutes. This makes them a great pair of fire poi for performance and suitable for all abilities. The heads on these poi weigh 120g each (without fuel) and will suit intermediate and experienced spinners who prefer a slow and momentum-rich flow.

Throws feel good, but can land a little heavier in the hand, compared to our lighter fire poi. Beginners who are a little more confident will have no trouble using these poi. The heavier weight can be tiring for less experienced spinners, so it’s extra important to get used to them unlit before your first burn. The poi heads are removable thanks to a quick link that attaches them to the heatshield chain.

HANDLES

The Glow in the Dark Pro Silicone Poi handles make these easy to adjust the length. Pro Silicone Poi handles look great, and the integrated ball-bearing swivel enables the cord length to be quickly and easily adjusted to fit anyone and smooth spinning every time. TECHNORA

Heat-resistant, lightweight, and strong! Technora cords feel great to spin with, they have the flexibility of your daytime poi with high heat resistance and fatigue resistance. The steel oval link heatshield prevents accidentally soaking the cord in fuel, prolonging its lifespan! The cord/leash is a top-quality 5mm 12 strand Technora rope. Technora feels great to spin; it’s not clunky like a chain, so it performs much more like your set of daytime poi. It’s very comfortable to grip and perfect for moves like wrist wraps and gunslingers.

Technora has no melting point, high heat stability, low heat conductivity, and low flammability. When exposed to fire, the material ceases to burn as soon as it is removed from the flame! These heat-resistant properties are combined with high tensile strength, abrasion and fatigue resistance, as well as no stretch. We have added an oval chain heatshield for extra safety and longevity. This reduces the chance of accidentally dipping the Technora leash in the fuel.
