Description

Locally sourced rope that we recommend for making contact poi tethers.
Polyester is highly durable with excellent UV, abrasion, and water resistant properties, and it feels smooth and comfortable on your skin.

The stable double-braided construction helps to keep the rope round and flexible, and it does not stretch.  Note that this rope will get slightly shorter over time as the fibers fluff out and knit into each other with extended use.  The maximum shrinkage is down to about 95% of the initial length.  We recommend making your contact poi about 2-3cm longer than you want the final length to be.  It can be cut with scissors, but you will need to melt the ends to prevent fray.
